Food & Beverage Service course

F&B Service is a Residential Skilling Program and the overall program duration is around 21 weeks, including 9 weeks of residential training program at Smera foundation, Thrissur, and 8-12 weeks of On-the-Job-Training at a reputed Hotel.

What is Food & Beverage Service?

The Food & Beverage division in a Hotel is responsible for everything from serving food to keeping dining spaces tidy to restaurant inventory. F&B Service industry includes restaurants, bars, cafeterias, canteens, food courts, F&B outlets in cruise liners and other food-based hospitality businesses. F&B service is a dynamic industry covering a wide range of job roles like—Waiters, service captain, Wine waiters, bar tenders, Buffet Assistant, Banqueting staff, Assistant Restaurant Managers, Restaurant Managers, F&B Managers etc.
